Pattaya
If you're craving a flavorful escape to Thailand right in the heart of Fareham, Pattaya is a name you’ll want to remember. Located at 114 West St, this cozy spot blends warm hospitality with the vibrant soul of authentic Thai cuisine. The moment you step in, you're greeted by a relaxed, intimate setting that feels perfect whether you're dining solo, grabbing takeaway, or settling in for dinner with friends.
What makes Pattaya stand out isn’t just the atmosphere-it’s the depth of flavor in every dish. Take the Green Curry, for instance. Creamy, fragrant, and just the right amount of spicy, it’s a top choice for curry lovers. If you're a fan of noodle dishes, don’t miss the Pad Thai Chicken-a classic that hits all the right notes with its sweet, savory, and tangy balance. And yes, they spell it "Pad Thai Xhincken" on some menus, but it’s the same delicious staple we all adore.
There’s also something incredibly comforting about their Coconut Soup, which brings a gentle heat balanced by the mellow richness of coconut milk. It's a crowd-pleaser for those who prefer subtle spice with deep flavor. For seafood fans, the Fried Sea Bass with Green Sauce is a must-try-crispy skin, tender meat, and a herby kick that pairs beautifully with sticky rice.
One of the best things about Pattaya is the diversity of offerings. You can go light with vegan-friendly Green Papaya Salad or Tempura Vegetables, or go all in with rich plates like Panang Curry or Beef with Cashew Nuts. If you're sharing, the Mushroom Satay and Crab Rangoon are great small bites to start your meal with some crunch and umami. And for those late-night cravings, they serve food well into the evening, making it a solid go-to when other kitchens are closed.
Looking for something indulgent? Pattaya delivers on desserts too. Their Key Lime Pie isn’t just a sweet ending-it’s a refreshing one. Light, zesty, and the kind of treat that makes you consider skipping mains and jumping straight to sweets (no judgment here). If you enjoy pairing food with drinks, Singha Beer is available to round out your Thai feast, or you can opt for wine, cocktails, or even just a strong cup of coffee.
Beyond the food, the service is seamless. Dine-in is smooth and casual, but if you prefer to enjoy your Thai favorites at home, they offer delivery, takeaway, and even kerbside pickup. That flexibility makes it an easy choice on busy evenings or when you just want comfort food with zero fuss. Accessibility is also thoughtfully covered, with wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating, ensuring everyone feels welcome.
Health-conscious diners will appreciate that Pattaya includes halal food, vegan dishes, vegetarian options, and even healthy plates on their menu. They’ve managed to cover a wide spectrum without compromising on taste. That’s not always easy to find in smaller establishments, but Pattaya pulls it off well.
There's even an "all you can eat" option for those with a serious appetite or looking to explore a broader range of flavors in one sitting. Whether you're a regular Thai food enthusiast or someone exploring the cuisine for the first time, the variety here means there's always something new to discover.
In a town filled with dining options, Pattaya manages to strike a rare balance-homey yet polished, traditional yet flexible. It’s a spot where lunch turns into a slow, enjoyable experience, and dinner becomes a celebration of bold, Thai-inspired comfort.

The food was outstanding! Amazing service provided by the front house lady who was very helpful, and swiftly accommodated a group of 4 just before the closing time!
Came out for my birthday, first visit - and Pattaya did not disappoint! Delicious food, beautifully presented, so fresh and full of flavour! The menu is a real treasure trove, so we ended up ordering a mix for the table so we all could get to try as much as possible, and it was all great. Had to stop myself from ordering a takeout for next day's dinner! If I had to choose, the panang curry was my favourite! Service was really jolly, passionate and attentive - just spot on! Looking forward to many more visits, and take aways!
Freshly cooked beautiful food, ok so you will pay a bit extra but who cares if you are getting obviously fresh cooked food. Yes there are cheaper Thai places around but Pattaya cooks from fresh and it shows. The Manager is warm friendly and welcoming and I would recommend this to EVERYONE. If you haven’t been before and you like Thai food you MuST give this a try. Park for free in Fareham car park after 6pm and a very short walk to the restaurant which is spotlessly clean and once again I say the food is DELICIOUS!!!! One thing I would say is that the drinks are a little pricey and lowering the cost of these a little may appeal to more customers but it didn’t really bother me. My wife and I left happy, full and will definitely return!!!! If I could give it ten stars I would!!!
Lovely place with great food. Really fresh ingredients and a great choice in menu. Always enjoy visiting, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Will keep returning as one of my favourite places to eat in town.
We had a lovely early evening meal here a few weeks ago before going to an event at Fareham live. The food was delicious and the service from the lady there was second to none. We don’t live nearby unfortunately but if we did we would definitely be regulars.
